The MageeNews.com sponsored city league team captured the league championship in a “late” night game Tuesday, May 30th, at the Magee Sportsplex. Coached by Bill Ragsdale and John Warren, the team ended the season with a record of 10 wins and 4 losses.

I had the privilege of interviewing the team Tuesday night. These boys are great players and great young men. A special thanks to the City of Magee for the support of the baseball and softball programs at our Sportsplex. The season is winding to an end with All Star play to start in a few weeks. The “place” was packed Tuesday night! I loved seeing all the players, parents, family, and friends…nothing better than bonding through ball!
