Mississippi Motion, owned by Dr. Chris Penton, is located and based at Magee General Hospital in the Outpatient Specialty Clinic. (The clinic is near the heliport at the hospital. The parking is great and easily accessible.)
Dr. Penton, a Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician, deals with sports injuries as well as problems related to joints. “I see patients of all ages with all aches and pains,” explained Penton. “I have had extensive training in concussion management, fracture care, ultrasound-guided TMJ joint injections, management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal problems of all ages, and pain management.
Dr. Penton uses a portable ultrasound machine as one of his main diagnostic tools.
Presently, Dr. Penton is available on Mondays. As his patient numbers increase, he will add additional days.
Chris is a graduate of Gautier High School; undergraduate biology-medical sciences Mississippi College; Doctor of Medicine University of Mississippi. He is a Board-Certified Primary Care Sports Medicine and Board Certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Penton is licensed in: Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, New Jersey, and Washington.
