Magee Tames the Bulldogs
On Thursday, September 25th, the Lady Trojan Volleyball team traveled to the Mississippi School for the Deaf. The battle against the Lady Bulldogs was extraordinary. Although the Trojans fell short in the first set against the Bulldogs, they came back in set two with a vengeance. In the third set, the game was continuously tied. The game was tied at 24, 25, 26, and 27 points until Gabby Hawkins, #2, broke the streak with a victorious, untouchable serve. After a set of such intensity, both teams fought to the finish in the fourth set. With a game that was tied back and forth until the score was 18, the Lady Trojans won the set, making the final score 1-3.

Last night’s win over the Bulldogs places the Lady Trojans second in the district.  Please continue to show your support for the Magee Lady Trojan Volleyball Team as the Varsity face off against the Bulldogs again on Trojan court, Monday, Oct. 1, at 6:00 pm.

The Lady Trojans will travel to Hazelhurst on October 2nd. where Junior Varsity will play at 5:00 and Varsity will play at 6:00.
