The Cougars of Simpson Academy defeated the Cougars of Columbia Academy 26-8 in Friday night play.
The matchup brought Simpson’s record to 5-2 and dropped Columbia to 2-5.
The Simpson Cougars came alive in the second quarter scoring 12 points. Going into half-time Simpson had the lead 12-0. The third quarter saw both sets of Cougars scoring 8 points. Columbia never scored again. Simpson put 6 more points on the board in the 4th quarter with the game ending in a score of 26-8.
Simpson will take on Hartfield Academy at 7 PM, Friday, October 5th
