Magee gained a victory over Crystal Springs on their Senior Night 2018! The night started off with Magee recognizing their senior football players, cheerleaders, and band members.

The Crystal Springs Tigers took the opening kickoff and drove the ball to mid field. The Tigers’ quarterback, #7, broke through the Trojans’ defense for a 53 yard touchdown. The Trojans wasted no time answering the score with a 59 yard touchdown pass from #3, Javo Thurman, to #2, Chandler Pittman. The Trojans went for two on the extra point attempt and made it. Magee led early 8-7 after multiple turnovers by both teams. The first quarter came to an end as the Trojans #19, Sam Rials, scored a 41 yard field goal to take an 11-7 lead. The Tigers capitalized on a Trojan fumble as their QB completed a 36 yard scoring strike in the left side of the end zone; the PAT was good. After the kickoff, the ball was returned to mid field. Magee’s Sam Rials, #19, scored a 37 yard field goal to tie the game at 14. The Tigers drove the ball down the field on their next possession only to see Magee’s  #2, Chandler Pittman, intercept the ball on the 4 yard line and race untouched 96 yards to score to end the second half. The Trojans led 21-14 at halftime.
