Seven Mendenhall High School students recently competed in DECA district competition. All seven won medals and qualified for state competition which will be held in February. The students are Steven Ammann, Noah Adams, Alissa Bailey, Kennedi Skiffer, Titus Macoy, Candice McCullum, and Ahrielah Marshall. Steven, Noah, Alissa, and Kennedi are business fundamentals students while Titus, Candice and Ahrielah are STEM students. The students worked very hard to prepare for the competition which consisted of a face to face situational based interview and a written knowledge based test. The students are under the instructional leadership of Rachel Sorey, the Business Fundamentals and STEM instructor at Mendenhall High School.
