Linda Pat (Ussery) Boyd, age 78, resident of Magee, MS, passed away on September 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Linda Pat was born November 14, 1946, in Earth, Texas, the daughter of Bob & Fay (Stafford) Ussery.
Linda Pat married Bill Boyd on November 1, 1996. Together, they enjoyed fishing, traveling, and RVing. She was an adventurous entrepreneur who started multiple businesses. Linda Pat was a published poet, short story author, and a self-proclaimed “professional junker”.
Linda Pat was a member of Goodwater Baptist Church in Magee, where she attended the Dear Camp Sunday School Class.
Remaining to cherish Linda Pat’s memory are children, Amy Martin (Mitch), Will Hassell (Tanya), and Bo Boyd; grandchildren, Amanda Smith (Jason), Allie Malone (Trey), Samantha Hassell, Sarah McClain Hassell, Tyler Ragan (Meagan), Hunter Ragan (Brittany), Skylar Ragan; great-grandchildren, Layla, Kylie, Stella, Viva, Jolie, Mona, Miller, Rosie, Cameron, Jaxxson, Everly, Aubrey; and sister, Wylene Cleavenger.
Preceding Linda Pat in death are husband, Bill Boyd; son, Ryan De Stiles; parents, Bob & Fay Ussery; and sisters, Reva Ussery, Neva Ussery, and June Bills.
Services will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Goodwater Baptist Church in Magee. Visitation will start at 10 am, and the Funeral Service will begin at 11 am with Pastor Jason Webb officiating. Graveside Service will immediately follow.
Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Linda Pat may be sent to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
