Linda Diane Bishop, 76 of Mendenhall, MS went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 10, 2024 at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. She was born Sunday, October 5, 1947 in Magee, MS.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 9:00am until 11:00am at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 302 Eighth Ave SW, Magee, MS. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 11:00am at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Magee City Cemetery in Magee, MS. Bro. Wade Mathis will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

Diane was a member of Kennedy Springs Baptist Church. She was a graduate of White Oak. She was a devoted caregiver, a loving wife, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gayle Bishop; father, Allen Bratcher; mother, Lois Warren Bratcher; step-son, David Bishop.

She is survived by her brother, Ricky Bratcher (Gail); sister, Pam Bratcher; nephew, Josh Bratcher; niece, Lindsey Frye (Timothy); great nephew, Brooks Frye; great niece, Lexi Frye; step-son, Hamilton Bishop (Kathleen); step-grandchildren, Josh Bishop (Katie) and Andrew Bishop; and a host of cousins, other family, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Josh Bratcher, Timothy Frye, William Searcy, Joseph Gill, Josh Bishop, and Andrew Bishop.
