The Scriptural passage for today is found in Proverbs 3:3-4: “Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then, you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.” These are words to live by for all mankind, but especially for the Christian. God wants His children to show His love in our daily lives with all those with whom we come in contact, not just to and with our families. Also, we’re to be faithful in our walk and not just with fellow Christians. We should, as a direct result, be known to all people as loving and faithful followers of Jesus Christ. “Let your life so be that all the world may see the joy of serving Jesus with a smile, a bright, shining smile.” I love those lyrics from the gospel song “Give the World a Smile.” Amen!
