The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in 2 Corinthians 5:17: “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” Through true repentance, the gift of salvation will result in a new creation. The person’s heart of stone becomes a heart of flesh dedicated to the guidance and instruction of Christ Jesus. The old man and his desire to commit sin will diminish. He will seek to please his Lord and Master and not wish to follow his old sinful nature. The offer stands. The choice is ours. Do not put off salvation too long. Is it not time to become a new creation? Let Jesus come into your heart. Amen!
