What an unforgettable day at the State Capitol!
A big thank you to Senator Andy Berry and Representative Price Wallace for making this special recognition possible. Our student-athletes were honored in both the House and Senate—and what a proud moment it was for all of us!
Simpson Academy’s back-to-back Boys State Championship team was recognized for its outstanding achievement, along with Lilly Overby, a three-time cross country state champion and Gatorade Player of the Year. Also recognized was our State Runner-Up Girls team—another group that showed determination, heart, and excellence all season long.
Moments like this remind us just how special our community is and how much talent we have right here at home. These young athletes have represented Magee with pride, and we couldn’t be more proud of them.
