George Larry Ferrell passed away on May 9, 2017, at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson, at the age of 72. He was born on December 4, 1944, to the (late) George R. Ferrell and Pearl Battles Ferrell in Egglandville, FL.
He served in the United States Army and retired from Magnetak.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Mildred Thompson Ferrell; daughters, Linda Cooper and Brenda Hutto; brothers, Keith Ferrell and Loney Ferrell; sister, Glenda Robinson; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two step-sons, Tony Canoy and Rand Canoy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017, from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m., with services following at 10:00 a.m., at Kennedy Springs Baptist Church in Mendenhall.

Bro. Mike West and Bro. Roger Lee will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
