Judy S. White, 75, of Taylorsville, Mississippi, passed away from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born Saturday, June 1, 1946, Post, Texas.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Taylorsville, Mississippi.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church. The burial will follow in Fellowship Cemetery in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Dr. Frankie Clark will officiate. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Lisa Shelby and Miss Michaela Gilpin. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Judy was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Taylorsville, Mississippi. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, shopping, spending time at the church and working with the Girls in Action, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Smith and Lillie Daniel Smith; one brother, J.A. Smith; and two sisters, Nadine Ham and Gayla Dillon.
Survivors include her loving husband of fifty-six years, Charles “Charlie” White of Taylorsville; two sons, Dennis M. White of Palatine, Illinois, and Jeffrey W. White of Elysian Fields, Texas; four grandchildren, Chandler White of Palatine, Illinois, Emma White of Inverness, Illinois, Kaitlyn White and Evan White both of Elysian Fields, Texas; three sisters, Juanita Hall, Margaret Walker, and Sarah Hilliard all of Lubbock, Texas; and a host of other family members and friends.
