Thomas E. Boggan, 64 of Braxton, MS, passed away September 12, 2025, at home surrounded by his family. With love he went to be in the arms of Jesus.
He loved spending time with his family, especially vacation time at the beach. He loved Jesus, gardening, Southern Rock music, and old westerns.
He was a Trim Carpenter by trade for years before his retirement. He found his greatest joy spending time with his family, especially his Grandchildren and his Great-Grandson. They brought joy to his life. They loved him with the deepest love you can have and he loved them the same. His family will forever miss him, especially his daughter Christy. She is his baby, and he loved her so much.
He leaves behind his Honey of 48 years, Judy. They have one daughter, Christy Russell and two Granddaughters, Kaylee Barr and Sara Russell, and a sweet new Great -Grandson, Cadenlare Thomas Russell. He also leaves behind one sister, Deborah Burkes, that he loved very much. Also, a mother-in-law who he loved as a Mother, Vennie Smith.
He has a special one that he helped raise as a daughter and loved as one: Wisa (Joey) Warren and claimed their children as his own Grandchildren: Jace, Kaylynn, and Kadence Warren.
Thomas was preceded in death by his Mother Edna Owen McGaugh and Father Thomas Ray Boggan; Brother James Raines and Wayne Walker; Sisters Edna Lee Wilkinson, Alice White, Nancy Norwood, and Ginger Howell, and his Father-in-Law Donald Sullivan.
Tommy’s memory will live forever. He will be missed so much. It is so hard to say Goodbye. But, we do find comfort in knowing he is reunited with his loved ones and with Jesus.
Bye my love, until we meet again,
Judy
