Joseph Gregory Scott Millis, 26, of Pinola, MS passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March, 26, 2021, from an automobile accident. He was born January 28, 1995, to Donnie Millis and Kathy Palmer (Leo Jones, Jr).
Joseph never met a stranger and always had a kind word to say. He loved hunting and fishing from an early age and basically anything outdoors. He loved spending time with his wife and family and especially his brothers. He adored his daughter, Adela. His family and friends are suffering the tremendous loss of their son, brother and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Whitney Welch Millis; daughter, Adela Millis; father, Donnie Millis (Laura), mother, Kathy Palmer; paternal grandfather, Glen Millis; maternal grandfather, Scott Watkins; brothers, Josh Millis (Miranda), John Millis (Summer), Ben King; aunts, Tommie Abbott (Matt), Becky Sullivan (Jason), Donna Millis; along with a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Darlene Millis and Linda Buckley Watkins.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 28, 2021, at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall from 5:00 until 8:00 pm. The service will be at 10:00 am on Monday, March 29, 2021, in Tutor Chapel with Bro. Roger Lee and Bro. David Jager officiating. Interment will follow in Strong River Cemetery.
