Jimmie Carroll Barnett, 82, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at his residence. He was born on September 25, 1933 to his parents, the late Charlie Franklin Barnett and Mary Elizabeth (Lott) Barnett.
He is survived by one son, Kelly Barnett (Coletti); four daughters, Sharon Carlton (John), Karen Moore (Mickey), Karla Harvey (Berl), Kristy Busby (Todd); twelve grandchildren, Pam, Malisa, Angel, Lezlie, Charley, Katelyn, Kyle, Jacob, Kristine, Carrie, Shelbi, Quinton and twelve great grandchildren.
Mr. Barnett was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Tommie Frank Barnett.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 am, Thursday, November 12, at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Hwy 28 West, Mendenhall, MS with visitation from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at the church. Officiating will be Bro. Kelly Barnett and Bro. Gayden Harell. Final resting place will be in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jacob Busby, Kyle Barnett, Quinton Roberts, Paul Michael Moore, Shane Magee and Odell Wood.
