Following Fernando’s application in December to sell beer in Magee, the state finally sent the needed documentation to push the measure forward.
Upon receiving the paperwork from the state, the measure was brought before the Board of Alderman and passed.
I do not have a date of when Fernando’s will began serving beer.
Restrictions are in place through a city ordinance concerning beer sells and service. Beer cannot be served in a bottle…must be served in a clear glass. No signs advertising beer can be placed in the windows of the business…..and a business must have at least 60% in other sales. (No just “beer” stores)
