Imogene H. Vanderford, 66, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015 at the Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. She was born on February 8, 1949 to parents Dallas and Bertie Bell (Bryant) Herrington.
Imogene is survived by sons, Rickey Vanderford (Stephanie) of Redwood, MS and Gerald Vanderford (Tammy) of Valley Park, MS; brothers, Ray Herrington and Bobby Jo Herrington; sisters, Ann Gates and Eva Mae Herrington; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, Imogene was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Vanderford; daughter, Patsy Null; sisters, Mary (Jo) Millis and Daisy (Pat) Vanderford.
Tutor Funeral Home of Magee is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 18 from 5-8 pm at the Raleigh Church of God in Raleigh, MS. Funeral services will be Thursday, Feburary 19 at 10:00 am at the Raleigh Church of God. Sister Sally Jones will officiate. Interment will follow in the Galilee Cemetery in Smith County.
