Martin Cleaners is Open in Magee!

Good news for the folks of Magee and Simpson County—Martin Cleaners officially opened its doors Monday, bringing a much-needed service back to our community.

Located at 423 Main Avenue South, the new Magee location is a drop-off and pick-up site for the well-established Martin Cleaners, a company that has been serving Mississippi customers since 1947. The business also operates locations in Florence and Byrum, and now Magee residents can enjoy the same trusted service right here at home.

When you walk through the door—or pull through the drive-through—you’ll likely see a familiar face. Tawana Barnes is back on duty, greeting customers with the same friendly smile many remember from her years at 3 Guys and an Iron. The Martins convinced Tawana to come out of retirement, and many customers say seeing her behind the counter makes the place feel like home again.

“Turnaround on clothes will be about two days,” Tawana explained. Customers can conveniently use the drive-through to drop off garments or come inside to visit and handle their cleaning needs.

From business attire and church clothes to special garments that need a little extra care, Martin Cleaners hopes to make life a little easier for Magee residents.
