Boswell Regional Center held homecoming festivities followed by a football game between the BRC Hurricanes and the Simpson County Cougars.
Before the game started a pep rally was held where Magee Jr. High Cheerleaders led everyone in cheers and performed several routines. Magee Junior High Band was on hand to perform the fight song, Star Spangle Banner, and dance routine.
Following the pep rally, a parade of maids and crowing of the queen was done.
Lizzie Manning, last year queen, crowned Ms. Brooke Nalker as this years queen.
After all the festivities it was time to play ball. Both teams were pumped and ready to hit the field. The Hurricanes were warming up on the sideline getting loose for the game and giving each other fist pumps. The Cougars were excited to be there playing. These young Cougars did a great job showing leadership, compassion, class and respect for the game and the opposing team.
The Hurricane cheerleaders did a great job cheering their team on to victory.
This is great event that Boswell hosts. Anyone who was not able to see it missed a blessing.
