Magee High School Band has been very busy the last few weeks preparing for football games and competition.

Hard work paid off and the band received superior ranking last week at state competition.

The band is under the direction of Marbeth Gray and Nathan Mercer.

This years theme of the half time show is Peace, Love and War.

Songs from the sixties were chosen:  Overcome, Fortune Son, Where Have All the Flowers Gone, Love Her Madly.

Anyone who has not seen the half-time performance there is still time with a few ballgames left.
