V lost in the last inning 7-6. In the varsity game, the Trojans defeated Kosciusko 5-1 with 9 hits. The second varsity game was called after 3 innings due to rain. The score when game was called was 3-3.
Jaden Chatman had 4 hits for the day. Aimon Chisholm, Mason Boorth, and Caleb Brown each had 2 hits. Landon Hayes, Timon Kennedy, Adam May, and Chandler Pittman had 1 hit each.
According to Coach Eubanks, “the pitchers threw real well allowing on 2 hits. We played well considering we haven’t had a lot of outdoor practice time.”
The coaching staff was very pleased with the way the guys played Saturday.
