The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in 1 Corinthians 14:33: “For God is not a God of disorder, but of peace.” Let us keep this verse foremost in mind when we find ourselves in assemblies which erupt into chaos. God has no place in such, especially within Christian gatherings. Nothing good can come of it, because God simply isn’t there. He abhors confusion and disorder. The early churches were admonished to maintain a spirit of peace and contentment so Jesus could be exalted and hearts mended. Let us be instruments of peace and not discord. Amen!
