The Scriptural passage for today is found in Romans 12:12: “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” The apostle was keen to remind the early Christians of proper Christ-like conduct expected of them by their Lord and Savior. Unity was essential among the members, and hope, patience, and prayer were key to achieve that end. The sharing of testimonies and resources was vital in order to provide the much-needed support and encouragement. We are to do no less today as we interact with fellow believers and with those within our community. We know this is not a dress rehearsal. We will not have another chance of reliving today. Let us be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer. God expects it of us. Amen!
