She was a strong, selfless woman with a heart of love for everyone she met. She was happiest when she had all of her family over for Sunday lunch. She let her light shine for Jesus and was a true example of what it means to love like Jesus.
She is survived by her daughter, Patti Martin, and son Al Nichols (Julie); son-in-law, Danny Welch; grandchildren, Chris Nichols (Shea), Jonathan Nichols (Melissa), Jena Hardin (Rob), Joey Warren (Wisa), Ashley Nichols, Shane Martin (Carla), Jeremy Martin (Keri), DeShea Walker (Marney), Dana Duncan (Brett), Deidra Baldwin, Dollie Tutor (Tyson); 30 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert Hershel Nichols; son, Paul Nichols; daughter, Angie Welch; son-in-law, Billy Martin; brothers, Glenn White, Hilton White, Ray White and Jamie White; sisters, Christine Highlander and Rachel White.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 5, 2022, from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Goodwater Baptist Church with funeral service to follow at 2:00pm. Interment will be at Goodwater Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Jason Webb officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Goodwater Baptist Church building fund.
Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
