As the Mississippi College football season inches closer, athletic director Mike Jones and head coach John Bland are pleased to announce that season and single-game tickets are officially on sale, beginning on Wednesday (July 18).

Tickets are available online, or you can contact Missa Turman for more information at 601-925-3341 or turman@mc.edu. The ticket office is open weekdays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Season tickets will be $90 for reserved chairback seating for all six home games at Robinson-Hale Stadium. Single-game tickets for chairback seating are also on sale for $15 with general admission spots available for $10. As always, MC students, faculty and staff are admitted for free.

The Choctaws are scheduled to play 11 regular season games for the first time since 1988 when the team won one of their three Gulf South Conference championships. MC is also scheduled to play six home games in 2018, including four of the first five games being played at Robinson-Hale Stadium.

The season opens on Thursday, August 30th when Clark Atlanta comes to Clinton for a 7:00 pm kickoff. MC will then host Southwest Baptist (September 8th – 6:00 pm) before hosting 2017 NCAA Division II Runner-Up West Florida (September 22 – 7:00 pm).

The Choctaws then welcome Valdosta State (September 29 – 7:00 pm) to Clinton before celebrating “Homecoming” against West Georgia (October 27 – 3:00 pm). The home finale will be against West Alabama (November 3 – 2:00 pm).

“It will obviously be good for us to have the first two games and four of the first five at home,” said head coach John Bland, who enters his 5th season at the helm. “Our guys really get going when they see a loud and excited crowd in the stands. We rely on our fans to give us that extra bit of energy needed to compete in the Gulf South Conference.”

Fans are also encouraged to join the 1st and 10 Gridiron Club to help support the Mississippi College football program. For more information about getting on board, contact football administrative assistant Jourdan Branning at 601-925-3356 or jabranning@mc.edu.
