Mississippi’s First Lady Elee Reeves addressed members of the Republican Women of Simpson County during their March meeting held in Mendenhall, sharing reflections on her time serving the state and the opportunities that role has provided.

Reeves spoke warmly about her experiences across Mississippi and the privilege of representing the people of the state. She described her service as First Lady as a meaningful season of giving back while discovering more of Mississippi’s communities, culture, and heritage.

Attendees also enjoyed hearing about the Governor’s Mansion, including updates, improvements, and changes made during the Reeves administration.

Club President Lisa Givens called the meeting to order. Faith Kennedy delivered the devotion and opening prayer, and Karen Moseley led the Pledge of Allegiance. Minutes were presented by Krissi Kahn and approved by members. Treasurer Renae Miller delivered the financial report. Judy Yates introduced the guest speaker, First Lady Elee Reeves.
