The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in Psalm 131:2: “I have stilled and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with its mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me.” The psalmist enjoyed perfect peace in knowing that his soul was at rest in the care of his Lord and Master. Like an infant is at peace and is calm when with its mother, so should it be with all who have placed their trust in God. As our heavenly Father, God will provide that perfect peace and sustaining grace we need for our souls. Rely on Him, and He will abide and sustain.
