ERNESTINE GARZA, BRAXTON, MS
Ernestine Garza passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at Merit Health River Oaks. She was born on September 3, 1935, to her parents, the late Earnest Houston and Martha (Bennett).
Ernestine loved taking care of her family and treasured spending time with them.
She is survived by three sons; Danny Moore (Karen), Randy Moore (Deanna), Ramiro Garza II (Monique); three daughters, Norma Jane Moore (Richard), Julia Kaye Fernberg (Jim), Rhonda Gail Dickson (Bobby); brothers, Dalton Houston, Phil Phillips, David Carpenter (Sharon); eighteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sandra Jean Shackelford, and brother, Eugene Houston.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall at 4:00 p.m.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
