I, G Mitchell Chatman, would like to take this opportunity to thank all the voters who supported me – we are now in the run-off on August 25th!

Your continued support is greatly appreciated.

G Mitchell Chatman

Supervisor Candidate District 1

I, G Mitchell Chatman, with much prayer and consideration, respectfully ask for your vote and support in my endeavor to become your next Supervisor for District 1. A Supervisor’s role is much more than just bridges and roads. It consist of our community tax dollars so that they may be placed in the appropriate places for our county. If elected I would strive to work with the Human resource department, help pass county ordinances and repeals if needed.

I am a life long resident of Magee, where I am married to Phyllis Smith Chatman, and we have three children. My desire has always been to serve our community along with the citizens of Simpson County. Together we can make a difference for the entire county.

In the past, I’ve been employed with Exide Battery for many years, where I held the position of Supervisor. Currently I work for Wilmut Gas, a division of Sempra Gas, where I serve as a service technician. This position allows me to work with the community face to face. I may not see everything, however , with the help of the constituents of district 1 “Together we can.” My experience has taught me that transparency is key.

I am a very humble man who loves God and therefore I must love people. My father and mother are the late Rev. Allen and Bennie Reed, and I serve as the Pastor of Mt. Pisgah MB Church. Everyone knows that I am a man of my word and I strive to lead by example. Most of all, I want the best for everyone. I am rooted in Gods word and will not compromise my beliefs.

I humbly ask for your support.
