Dorothy Dean White, 76 of Magee, MS passed away Friday, April 4, 2025 at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Magee, MS. She was born Tuesday, July 6, 1948 in Topeka, MS.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee, 302 Eighth Ave SW, Magee, MS. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Burial will follow in Magee City Cemetery in Magee. Bro. Brad Roberts will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

Mrs. White enjoyed reading her Bible and worshipping the Lord daily. She always had a smile on her face that would light up the room. She never met a stranger. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Above all she was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother to her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Earl White; father, Robert Badeaux; mother, Ouida Reynolds Badeaux; brothers, Joseph Badeaux, Mac Badeaux and Robert Lee Badeaux; sisters, Joyce Carr, Nellie Parker and Joe Ann Booth.

She is survived by her sons, Melton Jones (Beverly), Norris Jones (Sheila), Rodney Jones (Kim) and Joe Joe White; sister, Peggy Whatley; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; niece, Holly Brown; and a host of other nieces, nephews, and other family.

Pallbearers will be James Whatley, Isaac Whatley, Melton Jones, Norris Jones, Rodney Jones, and James Vaughn.
