Doris Martin was a wonderful woman that was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished. She will be remembered as a loving, caring person who loved her God, her church, and her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and had the hands of a servant always doing good for others… what we call in the South… a Godly woman… a beautiful Christ-like example. There’s nobody in the world quite like you Mom. Gone from earth, yet will never be forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Ulysses Martin; daughter, Willie Catherine Martin Underwood; father, Nathaniel Augustus Prince; mother, Willie Mae Wade Prince; brother, Lavelle Prince; sister-cousins, Lucy Butler and Linda Parish; brother-cousins, Thomas Prince and Ed Prince; step-mother, Nena Prince; step-brothers, Bobby Hall and Ray Hall; and step-sister, Mary Coward.
