Christmas can be a very tough time for  people…young and old.  I came across this writing which I knew came from this person’s heart.  I think the words can help many of us.  Prayers for our people.

This is for the person that feels like there isn’t a soul on the planet that understands them. This is for the person who is trying every day to find their place in life. This is for the one that has tried to do “good” things, yet bad things continue to happen to them. This is for the person who really has no close friends, yet they are seen and liked by people all the time. This is for the person who feels they are liked by everyone, but loved by no one. This goes out to the soul who feels that literally everything around them is falling apart. This is for the person that is hurting, and no one seems to really understand or care about their pain.

In this fast-paced life that we live, people tend to feel left behind. I myself have been feeling this way recently. You do so many “right” things, and you “act the way you’re supposed to.” You go out in public and put this face on that says, “my life is perfect and I have no problems.” You have tried to do all the right things, yet nothing seems to be going your way. At the end of the day, you feel left out. I have spent my entire adult life trying to treat people right and honor my relationships with friends and family. However, it feels like no one does the same in return.

I have learned that most people in today’s world will “care” until it becomes an inconvenience for them. Most people care until you have nothing more to offer them; because that’s the only reason they cared to begin with. This is the sad reality of the world we live in today.

I promise, there is hope. Just as God saw Adam was lonely and gave him Eve; God will take care of you. You may be feeling depressed, sad, and just left in the dust; but stick to your morals. Continue to do the right thing, continue to help others in need, continue to seek the face of God. If you are not a child of God, maybe this is him calling you to him. However, if you are a child of God, this time in your life can be very frustrating. But our feeble human brains can’t see what God has in store. We can’t see what God can see, and that’s where faith comes into play.

So, continue to do good and weather the storm. A wise man once told me, “all things both good and bad shall come and pass.” This quote has stuck with me, because it is so true. We don’t like the bad, and it is sometimes a heavy burden to carry. I am still struggling with this concept, as many do. So Just trust God, and he will walk right through the storm with you.
