With Mayor Dale Berry withdrawing from the Mayor of Magee race due to health reasons and no time to print new ballots, Mayor Berry’s name will appear on the ballot as a candidate for Mayor in the June 3, 2025 election.

With the retirement of Ward 4 Alderman Patrick Brown, an election is required to fill this spot. Two candidates have qualified: Julian Harper and Melinda Green. Actually, Ward 4 ballot is the only ballot with two races listed on the ballot. Ward 1,2,&3 ballots will only list the mayor’s race.
Two candidates are in the race for Mayor: Mark Grubbs and Jim Snider.
Polls open at 7 AM on Tuesday, June 3rd and close at 7PM.
Low voter turnout has plagued every election in our city…I’m sure Tuesday election will suffer the same.
Even if you are only voting for Mayor, please show up and vote! We need you!
