CoLinLogoCopiah-Lincoln Community College sets job fair dates
WESSON – Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s Annual Job Fair will be held on Tuesday, March 24, in the Billy B. Thames Conference Center on the college’s Wesson campus. The free event is open to the public and presented by Co-Lin’s Career, Technical and Workforce Education Division.
There will be two sessions determined by career pathways. The morning session, from 9-11 a.m., will focus on the transportation, engineering, and industrial pathways. Businesses and industries, local and regional, will be present tospeak with individuals seeking careers in truck driving, heavy machinery, automotive, diesel, electronics, drafting and design, precision machining, automation and control and other related fields.
Tuesday afternoon the focus shifts to computer and office professionals, service industry and medical career pathways which includes but is not limited to business office, computer networking, cosmetology, food service, and child care, nurse’s assistant, practical nurses, registered nurses, lab techs, radiology techs and related fields. This session will be held from 1-3 p.m.
Attendees should attend with resume in-hand, prepared to complete applications, and be dressed for an interview. The Job Fair provides job seekers the opportunity to meet employers that are hiring, obtain career information, establish contacts through networking and identify career, internship, and summer employment opportunities.
