The old Pace Floor Covering Building, located next to Scott Buffington Law Office on Main Street, is gone! Several weeks ago, I posted pictures of the “tearing down” in progress. No word on what the actual space will be used for.
I think the view is kind of neat…someone told me that years ago there was an ally than ran from Main Street to the avenue located next to the school (1st).
I have heard the area may become a parking area or a green space (but there is no green!).
We will all watch together for what this open space on Main becomes!
