Charles Ralph Robinson, 88, of Taylorsville, MS passed away on January 22, 2025 at home with his loving wife of 69 years, Pat by his side.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 09:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Old Antioch Baptist Church in Soso, MS. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Old Antioch Baptist Church in Soso, MS. Burial will follow in Fellowship Cemetery in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Bro. Robbie White will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. 601-785-6564

Ralph graduated from Taylorsville High School in 1955. He was a truck driver for over 40 years and retired from driving for ABF in 1998.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and farming.  He was a member of Old Antioch Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father,  grandfather, great grandfather, and a great great grandfather.

Mr. Ralph liked the motto “Do not criticize, complain, or condemn” and tried to live by that. Ralph was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Robinson;  mother, Myrtle Craft Robinson.

Survivors include his wife, Pat McAlpin Robinson of Taylorsville, MS;  sons, Kerry Robinson (Monique), Mike Robinson and Joey Robinson (Cindy);  grandchildren, Brandi Taylor (Jody), Lacey Robinson, Lyndi Pryor (Dwayne), Priscilla Mangum, Wesley Robinson (Elizabeth), Kaitlin Loftin (Jerid), Garrett Robinson (Shirley), Graham Robinson (Sarah), Garner Robinson (Haylee), John Gabe Robinson and Brittany Moore (Tate);  sister, Bobbie Yelverton; 18 Great Grandkids and one great-great grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Robinson, Garrett Robinson, Graham Robinson, Garner Robinson, John Gabe Robinson, and Daygen Warren.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jody Taylor, Jerid Loftin, Tate Moore, and Dwayne Pryor.

The family would like to thank Forrest General Home Health, Forrest General Hospice Care and all others who have helped with his care.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
