Melissa Easterling & Brittany Crane are therapist for Magee General Hospital and Simpson General Hospital. These two girls keep our county covered!
Melissa and Brittany visited with me Wednesday at MageeNews.com in celebration of Speech Therapy month.
As Melissa stated,” we work with patients from birth to end of life.” Brittany explained, “there is no age to early to began working with a child.” If your baby has difficulty swallowing, check with a Speech therapist.
I asked if one could just make an appointment to see a speech therapist. The answer is no. Referrals must be made by a doctor or health care provider.
Melissa and Brittany were highly influenced by their mothers who were teachers. Both ladies observed a speech therapist realizing they had found their home.
Mid South Rehab is the contractor for Collins, Magee, and Simpson hospitals.
