Bryan Thomas Hazlewood, 46, of Braxton, Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at Simpson General Hospital in Mendenhall, Mississippi. He was born Wednesday, April 17, 1974, in Jackson, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 5, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Grace Baptist Church in Mendenhall, Mississippi.

A visitation will be Saturday, June 6, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church. The burial will follow in Harrisville Cemetery. Reverend James Floyd will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601) 847-4401

Mr. Hazlewood was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Mendenhall, Mississippi.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and hunting.  But the joy of his life was spending time with Wyatt and Nathaniel.  He will be remembered for his fun personality, his smile, and his laughter.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Brown Hazlewood, Jr.

Survivors include his loving wife of twenty years, Nancy Danell Jennings Hazlewood of Braxton, MS; two sons, Wyatt Hazlewood of Hopkins, South Carolina and Nathaniel Hazlewood of Braxton, MS; mother, Doralene Brimmage Schweitzer of Hopkins, South Carolina; one brother, Eric Hazlewood and wife, Jennifer of Brandon, MS; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roy and Mary Jennings of Harrisville, MS; sisters-in-law, Diane (Robin) Shaw of Florence, MS and Dawn (Lee) Smith of Harrisville, MS; in laws, Marvin and Amy Hazlewood of Harrisville, MS; twenty nieces and nephews; one great-niece; and a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Marvin Hazlewood, Logan Hazlewood, Kevin Lawson, Robin Shaw, Timmy Jennings, Austin Smith, Jay Young, and Kevin Ishee. Honorary pallbearers will be Nathaniel Hazlewood and Wyatt Hazlewood.
