Braden Overby, Simpson Academy upcoming senior, was elected by the delegates of Boys State as the Governor.  To our knowledge, Braden is the first young man from Simpson County to win this honor.

Braden was also chosen as one of two delegates to attend Boys National in Washington, D.C.

Braden is also the president of the Simpson Academy student body.
