Magee, MS – Peoples Bank President and CEO Dennis Ammann is pleased to announce the promotion of Tyler Cheramie to Community Loan Officer, serving customers through the bank’s Magee Office.

In his new role, Cheramie will focus on building relationships and meeting the lending needs of individuals and small businesses throughout the community. His responsibilities will include originating and servicing loans while continuing to support Peoples Bank’s commitment to local economic growth.

“Tyler has proven himself to be a dedicated professional with a strong understanding of our customers and our market,” said CEO Dennis Ammann. “His work ethic, community involvement, and passion for helping others make him an excellent fit for the Community Loan Officer role. We are excited to see him continue to grow with Peoples Bank.”

A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Cheramie earned his Associate’s degree from Copiah-Lincoln Community College and his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from William Carey University. Prior to joining Peoples Bank, he spent four years with Farm Bureau Insurance in Simpson County, gaining valuable experience in customer service and relationship management.

Cheramie is actively involved in the community, serving on the Magee Beautification & Development Committee, Magee Chamber of Commerce Board, and the Simpson County Youth Leadership Committee. He and his wife, Nicole, also serve as youth leaders at Church Alive. They have two sons, Jude and Wells.
