BILLIE JEAN MEADOR, BRANDON, MS
Billie Jean Craft Meador, 75, of Brandon, Mississippi, went to be with her Savior on April 24, 2020. She was born to the late R.T and Saleta Craft on September 21, 1944. She grew up in Magee, Mississippi and married her high school sweetheart, Joe Tyson Meador. They were married for 52 years. For most of her life, she was a member of Corinth Baptist Church where she served as a ladies’ Sunday School teacher. At Magee Elementary School, she taught 4th grade and gifted education classes for over 20 years while positively influencing the lives of many children. Thirteen years ago, she and Joe moved to Brandon, Mississippi. There they joined First Baptist Church Brandon where she was very involved in her Sunday School class, multiple Bible studies, and the homebound ministry.
Billie Jean enjoyed making memories traveling to different places with her husband, Joe, and especially a yearly Thanksgiving trip to Pigeon Forge with her children and grandchildren. She loved cooking for others, drinking lots of coffee, and finding different reasons to celebrate with her family and friends.
