Beautiful morning for a Magee Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting. Big D’s Guns and Pawn was packed out Saturday morning, July 28th for the ribbon cutting of their new location. Darrel Grubbs and his staff of 3 employees know all about the guns and pawn business. Everyone watched the new building go up and this morning we got a first hand look at what Big D has to offer…guns, jewelry, lawn equipment, electronics, and the list goes on.
Diane McPhail with the Magee Chamber of Commerce presented a plaque to Darrel welcoming him to his new location and thanking him for well representing Magee.
After the presentation, everyone enjoyed browsing the showroom and picking up a pulled pork sandwich plate and cake.
Darrel has been in his new location since April of this year. His business first opened in Magee in 2010 up the road on the hill.
Darrel and his wife, Cecilia, have three children, John, Sara, and Samantha. Darrel is the son of Ance and Donteal Grubbs of Magee.
Big D’s is located just off Hwy 49 between Keith Tire and Hudson’s. Stop in and check out Big D’s new location!!
