 Betty L. Sullivan, 83, of Taylorsville, Mississippi, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at her home in Taylorsville, Mississippi. She was born Monday, May 22, 1939 in Collins, Mississippi.

 Visitation will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Mineral Springs Baptist Church in Taylorsville. Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 27, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Mineral Springs Baptist Church and the Burial will follow in Mineral Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Kelly Tingle will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. (601) 785-6564.

 Mrs. Betty was a fine Christian woman who everybody called Nana. She loved the lord and Mineral Springs Baptist Church. She retired from Smith County Schools where she served for 32 years as a bus driver and 22 years as a lunch room server. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She struggled with Dementia for 10 years but now her struggle is over. She is happy being with the lord her savior and her husband.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Sullivan; son, Edward Sullivan; parents, Sam Lightsey and Annie Mae Lightsey; brothers, Frankie Lightsey and Jody Lightsey; sister, Elsie Lightsey Pruitt.

 Survivors include her daughter, Gwin Sullivan; grandchildren, TR Parker (Paige) and Crystal Baldwin; great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Parker, Aleigha Parker, Jason Page, Maleigha Page, and Graceland Baldwin; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.

 Pallbearers will be Dewayne Atchley, Nic Dardar, Brandon Blackwell, Darren Sullivan, Jeff Pruitt, and Jason Pruitt
