(August 11, 1970 – May 23, 2022)

          Linda Louise Boxx Stokes, 51 of Mendenhall, Mississippi passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022, at her home in Mendenhall, Mississippi. She was born Tuesday, August 11, 1970, in Mendenhall, Mississippi.

          A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at Mendenhall Cemetery in Mendenhall, Mississippi. Brother Earl Clark will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401

          Linda was kind hearted and loved her family.  She cared for her siblings and was always there when they needed her.  She is now released from her health struggles and rejoicing with her family in heaven.  She will be greatly missed by all of family and friends.

          She was preceded in death by her father, Cooper James Boxx; mother, Margarett Louise Welch Rogers; two brothers, Kim Darren Boxx and James Harold Boxx.

          Survivors include her one sister, Mary Rogers of D’Lo, MS; boyfriend, James Pittman of Mendenhall, MS; one sister-in-law, Brandy Robertson of Mendenhall, MS; closest cousins, Angela Mortimer of Pensacola, FL, Todd Bills of Pensacola, FL, and Wayne Grantham of Wiggins, MS; and a host of other family members and friends.

          Pallbearers will be Danny Mortimer, John Porch, John Roberson, and Jimmy Noland.
