Simpson Academy Awards Day ceremonies were held on May 12, 2016, in the SCA Gymnasium. Simpson students were recognized for their many achievements during this 2015 – 2016 school year.

One particular young lady was recognized Friday….Sarah Berry…who helps us at MageeNews.com!!! I am so proud of her and all the awards she won.  I told her probably all her classmates hate her…but really, there is no way to hate Sarah.  She is a kind loving young lady with a passion to learn and be the best….who can fault anyone for that!  I’m afraid she’ll “roll tide” one day…because she is all about some University of Alabama….but we’ve still got time to change her mind and stay in Mississippi.

Sarah was awarded 1st place in her algebra II, biology II, accounting, world history, and Spanish classes. She also received 2nd place in her Honors English II class, a letter to be inducted into the Mu Alpha Theta chapter at Simpson, and made the Headmaster’s list for this school year. Sarah and her partner, Bayleigh Prather, also received the best presentation award for the Young Entrepreneurs competition their accounting class participated in this past December.
