Dear Adoption & Foster Families,

We will be hosting our next adoption and foster care class tomorrow on Wednesday, March 6th, 2024, at Crossgates Church from 6:00-7:00p in room 207.

The class is free to attend, childcare is provided for free through the church, and RSVP is not required. Foster families will receive a one-hour training credit for attending the class and our classes are approved through the Mississippi Department of Child Protection Services.

Our keynote speakers will be Sharon Brown who is an area supervisor with MDCPS,  and her topic will be “Becoming a MDCPS Foster Parent” and Jywanza Goodman who is with the Mississippi Heart Gallery will also be speaking.

Our classes which are offered on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month through Zacchaeus’ Tree Adoption Ministry and the classes offer both adoptive and foster families a 360 degree holistic view of the adoption and foster care process.

The classes are designed to inform, equip, and encourage adoptive and foster families as well as to build relationships with other families who are going through the same process through biblical perspectives.

As always, bring a friend or family member with you, so that they can learn more about your adoption or foster journey. I know you are getting off work, so if you need to bring something to eat to class, you are welcome to do so. Finally, should you have any questions, please contact me by phone or email.

Serving the fatherless together,

Chris Gray

President and Founder
