Some people have just been a part of your life forever!  Martha Walker Hegwood was such a person.  I have known Martha most of my life.  Although Martha was “older,” (ha) we both attended Magee Public Schools together. She was always such a kind and caring person.  She loved fearlessly—especially her husband David, daughter Libby, and many many friends.

When your mother dies, a hole is left  in your heart forever.  When both your mother and father have passed life is truly never the same. Libby has a rocky road ahead without her parents.  We need to pray for her.

I always loved Martha’s laugh and her smile.  She always had a “devilish” grin that intrigued me…what was she really thinking!

Life long friends: Martha, Marilyn Parker, Mary Alice Knight, and Linda Lang

Life is better by the people we know…better by the people we allow into our life..better by the people we treasure.

Martha made life better…and I will be forever grateful for her friendship.
