2017 Magee Trojans Baseball Tryouts will be July 29 and 29, 2016. Tryouts will take place at the Magee Sportsplex beginning at 3:30 pm.
Only one day is required so participants can choose which day. Each participant will need to get there in time to fill out some paperwork. Please let coach know if you don’t have an up to date physical. Tryouts will last until about 5:30 (depending on number of participants). Participants will need to being their own glove and cleats and will be tested on arm strength, fielding ability, hitting ability, speed and athletic ability. If you had 3 or more write-up in the previous year you may not be considered for the team. The number of players is limited. This is for incoming 7th – 12th graders. If there is any change due to weather it will be posted on MageeNews.com or facebook page.
Players that make the team will need to be willing to help with fundraising and will need a physical before (fall baseball) practice starts on August 15th.. All paperwork will be due no later than August 15th.
