Magee Police Department Press Release
Chief Chris Jones stated on the morning of February 14th that the Police Department was aware of a threat towards numerous schools, including a school in Magee. He is currently working with Local, State, and Federal administrators and investigators to find where the threat originated.
As an extra precaution there will be extra Officer presence at school and he will keep us updated when there is more information. He strongly asks that students do not bring anything to school that they are not supposed to bring, whether it’s on their person, in a backpack, or in their vehicle.
